Outpatient Services

The SJBF Outpatient Program is now open, in conjunction with our 20-bed Sober Living Program. Our treatment services include a comprehensive Modern Recovery Program, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy, with an emphasis on today's opiate addiction epidemic. We offer individual and group counseling, a life skills group, relapse prevention, trauma, mindfulness and self-realization therapies. We are here to help those struggling with opiate, alcohol, and other drug addictions to take back control of their lives using our evidence-based therapeutic models of recovery. Our clinicians, staff and owner are fully committed to our clients, their families and the community in order to fight the epidemic of addiction in the South-Central Pennsylvania area.

• The schedule is flexible, allowing you to work around your existing commitments for work, school and family.
• You can attend OP while living at home or we can help you locate suitable housing.
• We will prepare you for ongoing attendance in a variety of 12-step programs and other modalities.
• Each client works with their counselor on an individualized treatment plan.
• Holistic mindfulness meditation sessions are part of the therapy.

Our program provides care to men and women residing in Harrisburg and in the outskirts of the city. 

Rest assured that our location, amenities, and 12-step philosophy, along with our male and female house managers, will make you feel comfortable, safe, and secure. SJBF is pending NARR (National Alliance of Recovery Residences) and PARR (Pennsylvanian Alliance of Recovery Residences) certified sober living facility. These certifications set a high bar for compliance; requiring inspection, adherence to a Code of Ethics, and the establishment of Resident Rights.
